Common questions

Things parents actually ask.

Is the degree recognized by NMC India?
The universities we work with are listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS). NMC India uses WDOMS to determine eligibility for FMGE / NExT, the licensing exams Indian graduates of foreign medical schools must clear before practising in India.
Do I need NEET for admission?
No. NEET is not required for admission to MBBS in Egypt. You only need NEET if you plan to return to India to practise. It qualifies you to sit the FMGE / NExT licensing exam there.
What language is the course taught in?
The international MBBS programme is taught entirely in English. Arabic is offered as a conversational subject in years 3 and 4 to help with patient interaction during clinical rotations.
Can I work in the GCC after graduating?
Egypt sits right beside the Gulf, and Egyptian-trained doctors are a familiar, well-regarded fit across the GCC, where demand for doctors keeps growing. Each country runs its own licensing exam, but an Egyptian MBBS puts you on a strong footing if the Gulf is your goal.
Is the hostel really free?
Yes. We arrange free on-campus accommodation for our students, so there is no hostel rent to pay. It is one of the things that makes Egypt one of the most budget-friendly destinations for medical study.
Can I work in India after graduating?
After completing the 5-year MBBS + 2-year internship in Egypt, you take the FMGE / NExT exam, complete a one-year Indian internship, and register with the NMC to practise in India.
